2009 Philadelphia Sports Training Center
Philadelphia Sports Training Center will be conducting a College Football Recruiting Fair & Combine on
Saturday, February 28th at our new sports performance training facility at 63 Concord Road/Aston, PA 19014.
Fair hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and the Combine for high school juniors and seniors only will be
from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Doors will be open at 8:00 a.m. for registration for this FREE event to all parents,
coaches, and student-athletes in grade 7 – 12 with a minimum of a 2.0 grade point average. All attendee’s
encourage to RSVP online for entrance. The second event date will be Saturday, April 4th, 2009.
The agenda for this spectacular one-day event will include; booth space for coaches to set up and display their
college/university, sessions will include a NCAA Compliance Officer, completing the FAFSA for financial
aide, college recruiting process, and panel discussion with current/past football players-coaches. During the
panel discussion high school coaches, parents, and student-athletes will have a chance to ask our guest
panelist questions about the experiences of playing college football. We expect 75 - 100 colleges in
attendance from Division I-A, I-AA, II, III, JUCO, NAIA, NCCAA, and post-graduate colleges.

The Collegiate Development Football League
The Collegiate Development Football League is pleased to announce another Open Tryout/ Clinic/ Combine in it's continuing series of pre-season developmental training sessions. This tryout will be held in the New Windsor Sports Dome on Saturday March 7, 2009 , noon-2pm. The tryout is FREE, and is designed to give players an opportunity to meet the coaches, review the playbook, establish combine testing marks, participate in skill drills, and run a brief 7 on 7. Former New York Jets strength and conditioning coach, Barry Chait will present and answer questions regarding pre-season conditioning in preparations for the upcoming CDFL season. All 18-24 year old players are welcomed. Additional information and directions will be forwarded to participates . The 7 on 7 and Lineman Challenge Tryout
The CDFL is thrilled to announce that it will have it’s first 7 on 7 and Lineman Challenge Tryout at the Joe Saint Center in Hillburn N.Y. on Sat. April 11 from 7-9 pm. The event will be completely FREE and will be pay-per-view internet broadcast live for college coaches and family and friends around the nation to view! We are planning to be outside, but will move inside if the weather is bad. Teams will be filled on a first come first serve basis, so if you want to bring a team email a confirmation to playcdfl@gmail.com with your teams roster by position, hometown and contact info. If you come alone that is great, we will place you on a team.
We would like alI players to bring black shorts and the CDFL will provide the uppers. Each team will consist of a QB, HB, FB, TE, X reciever, Y reciever, Z receiver, 3/4 LB’s, 2 CB’s and 2 safties. The players will run plays directly from the Official CDFL Playbooks consisting of college level schemes. The Lineman Challenge will include competition for every position on both sides of the ball. All 18-24 year old players are welcomed, and we strongly encouraged anyone who is serious about playing in the CDFL this summer to attend this event. CAMP OVERVIEW: Lauren’s First and Goal Football Camp is a one-day non-contact camp for anyone
who will be entering the 9th through 12th grades in Sept. of 2009. Players will be divided into small groups
by position and age for offensive and defensive skill instruction. Participants will have the unique opportunity
to make contact with Division I, II & III college coaches who are volunteering their time and expertise to
work the camp. The camp will also feature a guest speaker. Campers must bring a bag lunch. Drinks will
be provided. Last year we had 246 volunteer college coaches. The camper to coach ratio will be approximately 8 to 1.

Each year over 3,000 children in the U.S. are diagnosed with brain tumors. Brain tumors have surpassed Leukemia
as the number one cancer causing death among children. Lauren’s First and Goal is a 501c3 charitable
organization created to raise funds to support pediatric brain tumor research, support local pediatric cancer
services, provide fi nancial assistance to families living with a pediatric cancer diagnosis and to raise public
awareness regarding pediatric brain tumors. The camp is named in honor of 11-year-old brain tumor survivor,
Lauren Loose. Lauren was diagnosed with multiple brain tumors at age two.
CAMP DATE & TIME: Sunday, June 7, 2009 - 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Check-in from 7:30-9:00 a.m.
FACILITIES & DIRECTIONS: The camp will be held at Lafayette College’s Metzgar Athletic Campus
(3414 Sullivan Trail, Easton PA), which is located three miles northwest of the Lafayette College Hill Campus
in Easton, PA. Metzgar is an 80-acre facility, which has one artifi cial turf fi eld and multiple grass fi elds.
Wear sneakers to the facility to be used on the turf, and bring football shoes for the grass. The Lafayette
training staff has volunteered to provide full training facilities and supervision. To reach the Metzgar Athletic
Campus from Lafayette College, take Cattell St. north as it winds around and turns into Sullivan Trail.
Metzgar is located on Sullivan Trail on the left side of the road with a parking lot inside the main gate. From
Rt. 33 south take the Stockertown (Rt. 191) exit. Left at the end of the ramp and right at the light. Metzgar is
three miles on the right just past the small airport.
COST: The registration fee for Lauren’s First and Goal Football Camp is $25. Any amount given over the
initial $25 is greatly encouraged and 100% tax deductible.
REGISTRATION: Participants PLEASE pre-register by May 24, 2009. The fi rst 400 pre-registered players
will receive a free camp T-Shirt. There are no indoor facilities and the one-day event will be held rain or shine. Please
