“Final Five” selected for 2011 Mr. Pennsylvania Football Award

(Harrisburg, PA)-  Wayde D. Marsico, President/CEO of Sportsrecruiters.com announces the final five finalists in the Mr. Pennsylvania high school football awards. Two awards will be presented; one for the Small School Mr. Pennsylvania which consists of class A and class AA players, and one for the Big School Mr. Pennsylvania which consists of class AAA and class AAAA players.  The players were chosen by football fans, sportswriters/sportscasters, and high school coaches from around the state with almost 25,000 voters.

The Finalists for the Small School/A/AA award are:

Brad Fegley    Senior     Southern Columbia High School    Quarterback

Roman Clay   Junior       Lancaster Catholic High School    Running Back

Demetrious Cox    Senior     Jeannette High School    Athlete

Matt Bodamer   Junior   Port Allegheny High School    Quarterback

Tyler Boyd   Junior     Clairton High School     Running Back

The Finalists for the Big School/AAA/AAAA award are:

Dan Harding   Senior    Nazareth Area High School   Quarterback

Noah Spence   Senior    Bishop McDevitt High School    Defensive End

Brendan Nosovitch    Senior   Allentown Central Catholic High School   Quarterback

Rushel Shell   Senior    Hopewell High School     Running Back

Jack Haffner   Senior    State College Area High School     Running Back

The winners will be announced at an awards banquet on Saturday evening, March 3rd, at the Harrisburg Hilton.  There is still time to make reservations.  Go to mrpafootball.com for more information.
