2016 Offensive outlook: (Please let us know the keys about your team on offense. What are your keys to having a successful year?)

The Spartan offense lost key starters in Quarterback Daniel Walters (Mt. Union – 1,500 yards passing & 17 tds) and Don Washington (1,200 yards rushing & 13 tds), but return 3 out of the 5 offensive line starters that helped rack up over 3,500 yards of offense and 35 touchdowns. First year Quarterback Justin Sliwoski and a rotation of backs will join returning starters at WR as the Spartans will try to build off of offensive success from last year. Junior WR Nick DiAndreth returns after having 8 TD’s as a sophomore.

2016 Defensive Outlook: (Please let us know the keys about your team on defense. What are your keys to having a successful year?)

On Defense Hempfield returns 8 starters, including their top 2 leading tacklers (Braden Brose 72, & Kendrick Wells 60). The Spartans will look to their D-Line and Linebackers for leadership to go along with an inexperienced secondary.

2016 Special Teams Outlook: (Please let us know the keys about your team on special teams. What are your keys to having a successful year?)

Senior Jordan Kempka returns as the team’s top kick returner, after having 1 kick-off return for a touchdown last year.
