Alex Smith leads Keystone Oaks to victory

Keystone Oaks would get the ball first to start the game and they would also be the first to score. Alex Smith found Nick Hrivnak for an 11 yard touchdown to make it 7-0 8:45 in the first.
Apollo Ridge marched into Keystone Oaks’ territory but eventually the drive stalled. The score didn’t change the rest of the quarter and it was 7-0 at the end of 1.
Keystone Oaks made it 14-0 when Alex Smith scored on a 23 yard run with 10:08 in the second. Apollo Ridge finally got on the board on a 1 yard run by Kyle Fitzroy. And the Viking Horn sounded indicating an Apollo Ridge touchdown.
Keystone Oaks would answer back when Nick Hrivnak made an amazing one handed catch for a 47 yard touchdown. The score at half was 21-7 Keystone Oaks.
Keystone Oaks would score the first 2 touchdowns of the second half. The first one was a 2 yard pass from Alex Smith to Joey Tortorella, and the second was an 18 yard run by Alex Smith.
Apollo Ridge scored with 39 seconds left in the third when Kyle Fitzroy found Eric Berkey for an 12 yard touchdown.
The fourth quarter Keystone Oaks added 2 more touchdowns in the fourth and one of which was a third catch by Nick Hrivnak from Alex Smith this time from 11 yards. Apollo Ridge also added another score to make the final 49-21.
Alex Smith had a big night. He was 18 of 27 for 292 yards and threw 5 touchdowns, he also had 2 rushing touchdowns to bring the total to 7. Nick Hrivnak also had a big game who had 5 catches for about 105 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Duane Brown played a big role for Apollo Ridge. He had 5 catches for 51 yards and had 109 yards on 19 carries.
