Bald Eagle got scores from 4 different players, all on plays of 25 yards or longer, to set up a huge conference battle between PFN class 4A #2 Clearfield (A 35-7 winner over Tyrone) and the 3A #5 Eagles next Friday in Wingate.

Gage McClenahan started the scoring with a 40 yard TD run just 21 seconds into the game, he also scored on the 2 point play to make it 8-0. Huntingdon struck back with a 20 yard scoring run by Roger Kocik to put the score at 8-7.

It was then Kaden Bittingers turn, hauling in a 28 yard td reception from Jaden Jones to make it 16-7 after Jones converted the 2 point try.

The BEA defense got in on the act when Nick Turner stripped the ball from Kocik and rumbled 55 yards to make it 23-7

Blake Roberts closed out the scoring on a 34 yard run in the fourth quarter.

For the first time all season, Jones was held under 100 yards passing. “I thought we played a little sloppy tonight, but I’m glad we have that quick strike ability. To their credit, I thought Huntingdon had a great game plan defensively. We had to fight for what we got, and it didn’t help that we had a bunch of guys playing with illness” said Head Coach Jesse Nagle.
