Key Stats: Beaver averaged over 41 offensive points per game in 2016 while limiting opponents to 19 ppg. That three -touchdown point differential was the best among a lofty list of conference opponents.

2017 Offensive Outlook: Certainly, replacing Beaver’s offensive “star” power in the absence of Darius Wise will be difficult; however, there are many returning players with solid experience rooted in a veteran offensive line unit. The offense will mature as the season grows with new starters at QB and RB, but Beaver is very optimistic about the talent surfacing on this offensive unit.

2017 Defensive Outlook: This group made huge strides in 2016. With 8 starters returning, Beaver’s defense is expected to be even improved in 2017. Success on defense will take pressure away from the offense and create opportunities for the team to gain confidence early in the 2017 campaign.

2017 Special Teams Outlook: One of the most underrated aspects in HS football is the kicking game. With All-state PK Will Connelly returning, field possession will sway in favor of the Beaver team immediately.

League Rankings: No order: Aliquippa, Beaver, Beaver Falls, Central Valley
