A 17-yard touchdown run by Jerome Turner in the 4th quarter would put the finishing touches on the Trojans victory, who attempted just 5 passes in the game.
“I told the kids at the beginning of the year that we wanted to start a new tradition…but who would of thought the first year of Cardinal Weurl North Catholic and we win the WPIAL Championship” Trojans head coach Bob Ravenstahl said after the win.
