2018 Offensive Outlook: After officially claiming the QB job with several great passing games to finish off last season, Ryne Wallace is back to lead the Cavs offense. Surrounded by great receiving threats in SR Jack Colecchi, SR Troy Kuhn, SR Tracey Morris and many others, the Cavs passing attack should be kicked into high gear in 2018. After splitting time with Ross Greece (Clarion) Drew DiNunzio-Biss will take over full time as the feature back. He will be joined by JR Peyton McCann who is expected to contribute some big plays and hard nose running. The offensive line returns 3 starters and after learning the system in year 1 of new head coach Sam Alberts tenure, all facets of the offense expect to show much improvement from 2017.

2018 Defensive Outlook: The defense returns 3 senior LBs who will lead this Cavs defense. Drew DiNunzio-Biss set the single season school record for tackles and will once again be flanked by Troy Kuhn and Dane Fitzsimmons. Justin Hessom returns to lead a D-line that will be searching for new starters at DE. The secondary will be manned by a host of returning starters including Jack Colecchi and some new faces in Hayden Wright and Jared Curcio. As always, the D plans to be an in your face, hard hitting unit, who will try to carry this team to a 2018 playoff birth.

2018 Special Teams Outlook: SR Punter Jared Custer was among the top punters in the state for net yardage as a JR in 2017. He will be joined by new SR PK Nick Smith.
