Lamont Wade carries Clairton to victory over Aliquippa in the Mud Bowl

Aliquippa got the ball to start the game. After getting to the 50, Avante McKenzie is off to the races for a 50 yard touchdown to put Aliquippa on top 6-0. On Clairton’s first possession they struggled and a high snap went out of the end zone for a safety that made 8-0.
Aliquippa got the ball back again and several big runs got them to the Clairton 21. It looked like they were gonna score again but a Lamont Wade interception ended that drive.
Clairton would finally get on the board when Lamont Wade found Noah Hamlin for a 58 yard touchdown to cut the Quips lead to 8-6.
Clairton would take the lead on another Lamont Wade pass to Noah Hamlin this time for 36 yards. The score at the end of 1 was 12-8 Clairton.
Lamont Wade would score again on a phenomenal 73 yard run, which made 18-8 Clairton with 8:54 in the second.
Aliquippa would score a few drives later on a 17 yard run by Kwantel Raines. That made 18-16.
17 seconds later Lamont Wade was off to the races again he score from 60 yards out to make it 26-16, which would be the score at half.
To start the second half the Quips recovered a surprise onside kick and quickly got into the redzone. But after a few penalties and bad plays the drive stalled.
The third quarter only had one score and that was on a 70 yard run by Lamont Wade to make it 32-16 with 7:51 in the third.
This game got out of hand in the fourth quarter, Clairton would add 3 more touchdowns and a 2 point conversion and the final score was 52-16 Clairton.
Lamont Wade was the run away player of the game who ran for 250 yards on 12 carries and 4 touchdowns. He also threw a pair of touchdowns to Noah Hamlin.
