Coaches Comments: All-State selection and District-10 Region 5 Co-Player of the Year, Logan Lutz, returns looking to the lead the District 10 Champion Eagles to the next level, in his senior season. Building on a junior campaign in which Logan shouldered the weight of the Eagle’s offense and leadership responsibilities on and off the field, Lutz will certainly be one of the most versatile and exciting players to watch in District 10.
Compiling over 1,800 career yds receiving and 22 TDs, in his first three seasons, Lutz showed his versatility as a physical and explosive runner, breaking out for almost 800 yds and 6 TDs rushing in 2017. Offensively, Logan is a precise route runner, makes great reads and has a great sense for spacing on the field. He has above average speed and phenomenal hands. There is no one more competitive when the ball is in the air. Most impressive, however, is Logan’s selflessness and physicality blocking for his teammates on the perimeter.
Defensively, Lutz returns as one of the best defensive backs in D10. His change of direction speed and relentless tackling make him a versatile defender. Logan has played at every position in the secondary and even moved up to the line of scrimmage as an outside-linebacker, in 2017. He has led the team in interceptions each of the last two seasons.
Most importantly, however, Logan is the most coachable and hardest working player you will find.
