2017 Offensive Outlook: 1st Key: The keys to us being a successful offense in 2017 starts up-front. Our offensive line returns 5 starters who are seasoned. We need them to be able to control the line of scrimmage. If we can do that our skill kids are good enough to get the job done.

2nd Key: Big Plays from the passing game. We must be affective in our passing game during the 2017 season. We have to be able to challenge teams vertically down the field which will complement what we feel will be a strong run game.

3rd Key: Red Zone Offense. We missed 10 of 15 Red Zone opportunities for points and that can’t happen again this year. We need to be able to put point on the board inside once we get into the red zone.

2017 Defensive Outlook: 1st Key: The keys to us being a successful defense in 2017 starts with our front 7. We Bring back 7 of 7 starters from the front 7. Our team defense ended up 3rd in D10 last season and we feel there is room for improvement based off of the players we have back.

2nd Key: Coming up with a key stop or defensive stance! We gave up too many “3rd and short” or “4th and short” attempts and we need to make “3 and out” more of the norm to keep our defense off the field.

3rd Key: Create turnovers! Our guys need to create defensive turnovers to allow us to keep the defense off the field, to change field position and to give our offense a chance to score more points

2017 Special Teams Outlook: 1st Key: On kickoffs we need to limit the return yards to inside the 30. On kick-returns we need to create big plays on our returns.

2nd Key: We return an All Region Punter so we have to find a replacement kicker
