Pine-Richland QB switches commitment, will play for Pitt

Written by: on Monday, January 26th, 2015

Ben DiNucci has all the tools to play big time football. He’s quick, smart, fast, has a cannon arm and shifty. The senior at Pine-Richland holds most of the schools passing records as well as a few PIAA records including the first to throw for over 4,000 yards in a season and now he holds something else, a scholarship to play for Pat Narduzzi and the University of Pittsburgh.  “After much consideration … I have decommitted from UPENN and have officially committed to PITT!! #PittIsIt #H2P,” DiNucci tweeted earlier today.  Ben was previously committed to play for UPenn.

DiNuzzi will fill a big void for Pitt as they lost one commitment and had another qb transfer out. As of now, DiNucci will be one of 3 scholarship qbs for Pitt.
