Pine Richland rolls to win over Penn Hills

Pine Richland improved to 3-1 on the season in a 52-21 rout by the Rams. Penn Hills started with the ball they got a first but had to punt it away.
Pine Richland started their first drive at their 30, and it didn’t take them long to strike. On the first play Phil Jurkovec connected with Jordan Crawford for a 51 yard gain. Eventually Crawford scored on a 10 yard touchdown to put the Rams on top 7-0 with 9:27 in the first.
The next drive Penn Hills fumbled it and Pine Richland recovered. On the second play Crawford would score his second touchdown from 6 yards, making it 14-0 with 8:48 on the clock.
Crawford would score once again before the end of the quarter to make it 21-0. Penn Hills would get on the board the following drive when Tarrant connected with Julian Major for a 5 yard touchdown. The drive took 12 plays and went 88 yards.
Pine Richland scored the next 2 touchdowns which was a fourth by Crawford and the first for Luke Meckler and the score was 35-7 at half.
Nothing major occurred in the third quarter, Pine Richland added a 25 yard field goal to make it 38-7.
In the fourth quarter Penn Hills and Pine Richland both scored twice. Cam Tarrant would throw his second touchdown pass to Jeremy Hamilton for a 44 yard touchdown.
A few players had impressive games. Jordan Crawford for Pine Richland had 157 yards on 19 carries and 4 touchdowns, he also had 2 catches for 56 yards. Phil Jurkovec was 13 of 26 for 176 yards, he also had 35 yards on 7 carries.
Despite the loss Cam Tarrant put up solid numbers, he was 24 of 41 for 363 yards and 2 touchdowns, he also had 76 yards on 12 carries.
Jeremy Hamilton for Penn Hills had 5 catches for 120 yards and 1 touchdown. He also had 21 yards on 4 carries.
