We had 13 sacks and 40 tackles for losses last year defensively, along with 19 (8 int and 11 fumble recoveries) takeaways.

2018 Offensive Outlook: Our key this year will be to end every possession with a kick. We showed some positive steps the last 2 seasons with the offense. This year we need to be even better. We have a lot of skill position players returning. With adding 3 news linemen, we will need to use our skill to put us in some good situations. We will need to get the ball to our wide receivers more often this season than we did last year.

2018 Defensive Outlook: Our key defensively will be being physical up front. We lost some good defensive players up front, we need to fill those shoes with players that are going to play physically every snap. We have skill players on the back end, we just need to be physical up front.

2018 Special Teams Outlook: With our kicker, punter, returner, and long snapper returning, we are hoping to be able to create an advantage with our special teams. Nathaniel has become a solid kicker over the past 2 seasons. We are looking forward to be able to kick field goals when we get into the red zone.
