Key Stats:

2017 Offensive Outlook: It will be key for us to establish the running game with Joel Musser and Garrett Musselman, our leading rushers from last season. WE will have a more experienced quarterback with Matthew Leonard’s second year under center. The play action pass game and passing game in general have improved over the off season and will look to be a bigger part of our offense this year. Our offense needs to sustain and finish drives this season. Our offense will only go as far as our offensive line, anchored by returning starters Alex Conner, Damon Lemin, and Brady Bithell, can take it.

2017 Defensive Outlook: Defensively, we will be transitioning from an odd front to an even front this year. This will give us the ability to more aggressive with our linebackers than we have been in the past. Our defense must have more discipline and aggression than it did last year. The experience of our linebackers, returning starter Garrett Musselman and key role players Damon Lemin and Cole Weist, will be leaned upon heavily this year. Our defense must force turnovers and get off the field on third downs for our team to be successful.

2017 Special Teams Outlook: Joel Musser is our returning kick and punt returner. He has the ability to score from anywhere on the field. Joel will also be looked to do the punting responsibilities this year. Junior, Cole Weist will serve as the team’s place kicker. We need to limit big returns on special teams and have a few big returns of our own.
